What we want
The Manager of Early Assurance Programs is responsible for the development, implementation, and management of early assurance pathways into the School of Engineering Medicine (EnMed). The Manager develops and implements program policies and procedures, coordinates recruitment and outreach activities, and provides engagement and support to students participating in early assurance pathways.

Required Education and Experience
+ Bachelor's degree in applicable field
+ Five years of related experience in Higher Education
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience with early assurance or pipeline program development and management
+ Experience in medical school, health professions, or STEM-related admissions and recruitment.
+ Experience with enrollment management systems (e.g., AMP, Banner, Slate).
+ Experience in both engineering and medical education environments.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
+ Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing
+ Ability to positively and professionally interact with educational constituents
+ Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
+ Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
Responsibilities:
Program Development and Management
+ Design, implement, and manage early assurance pathways for the School of Engineering Medicine
+ Develop program policies, procedures, and evaluation measures to ensure compliance with institutional, state, and national standards.
+ Maintain accurate records of participating students, partner agreements, and program outcomes.
+ Monitor and assess program effectiveness, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement.
Outreach and Recruitment
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with advisors and partner institutions to promote early assurance opportunities.
+ Develop marketing and recruitment strategies to attract highly qualified candidates.
+ Represent EnMed at recruitment events, information sessions, and conferences.
+ Provide guidance and counseling to prospective candidates regarding program eligibility, requirements, and timelines.
Admissions and Enrollment Support
+ Coordinate with the Office of Admissions and Enrollment Management to align early assurance admissions processes with overall recruitment goals.
+ Manage the application review, interview, and selection process for early assurance applicants.
+ Ensure seamless transitions for admitted students from early assurance acceptance to medical school matriculation.
Student Engagement and Support
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for early assurance students throughout their academic journey prior to matriculation.
+ Develop and implement programming to engage, mentor, and prepare early assurance students for success at EnMed.
+ Track students’ progress to ensure adherence to academic and program requirements.
Collaboration and Institutional Engagement
+ Work closely with faculty, staff, and leadership within EnMed to support strategic enrollment objectives.
+ Partner with institutional stakeholders to ensure consistent communication and program integration.
+ Contribute to strategic planning and accreditation reporting as it relates to early assurance pathways.
