Job Summary and Qualifications

About Us

Our Behavioral Health program is one of the most comprehensive in the region, with 77 inpatient beds across four distinct specialty units and a robust outpatient program offering IOP and PHP tracks, along with a dedicated ECT department. Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Nurse Manager to oversee nursing staff and mental health technicians across our inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services. The Nurse Manager plays a vital role in ensuring high-quality, compassionate care while fostering a positive, supportive environment for both patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities

+ Provide leadership and operational oversight for inpatient and outpatient nursing services, including IOP/PHP and ECT.

+ Supervise, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team of RNs, LPNs, and Mental Health Technicians.

+ Ensure delivery of safe, patient-centered care consistent with best practices and regulatory standards.

+ Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

+ Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and hospital leadership to optimize care coordination.

+ Support performance improvement initiatives, patient-experience strategies, and staff engagement programs.

+ Maintain staffing, scheduling, and performance improvement for assigned areas.

Qualifications

+ Current RN license (BSN preferred; board certification preferred).

+ Minimum 2 years of progressive leadership experience in Behavioral Health or related specialty.

+ Strong clinical background in psychiatry/mental health.

+ Demonstrated success in team building, staff development, and patient engagement.

+ Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with both patients and employees.

+ Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards (e.g., Joint Commission, CMS).
