    About the Role

    We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Princeton headquarters and play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting. In this on-site position, you will report directly to the Controller, leading core accounting processes, supporting AP/AR functions within NetSuite, and driving adherence to GAAP standards.

     

    This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of critical financial workflows, collaborate across departments, and contribute to building a strong, compliant, and scalable accounting function.

    Responsibilities

    + Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.

    + Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and amortizations.

    + Oversee and support the AP & AR Analysts, including training and guidance on NetSuite best practices.

    + Ensure accuracy across the general ledger, bank reconciliations, credit card activity, and intercompany accounts.

    + Prepare, analyze, and present internal and external financial reports.

    + Maintain audit-ready documentation, schedules, and records.

    + Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls.

    + Provide ad hoc financial analysis and cross-functional support to Finance, Operations, and HR teams.

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA designation strongly preferred.

    + 5–10 years of professional accounting experience, ideally in a corporate or media environment.

    + Hands-on experience managing the full accounting cycle within ERP systems.

    + Proficiency with NetSuite ERP strongly preferred.

    + Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.

    + Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).

    + Exceptional organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
