Our client, a leader in medical device research and development, is seeking a dedicated Engineering Technician to join their team. As an Engineering Technician, you will be an integral part of the R&D laboratory supporting innovative projects and technical development. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong teamwork skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and interpret technical schematics, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Location:** Round Lake, IL

What's the Job?

+ Perform a variety of research and development laboratory tasks and experiments.

+ Make detailed observations, analyze data, and interpret results to support project goals.

+ Maintain laboratory equipment and manage inventory levels for supplies.

+ Write experimental reports, summaries, and protocols to document findings.

+ Perform troubleshooting and calibration of laboratory instruments as needed.

What's Needed?

+ Associate's degree or higher in a relevant field.

+ 1-2 years of mechanical or electrical experience or internship experience in engineering.

+ Basic computer skills including word processing, data entry, and email communication.

+ Strong documentation skills and ability to follow procedures.

+ Ability to understand technical schematics and specifications, with mechanical or electrical background preferred.
