The Myeloma, Amyloidosis and Dysproteinemia Disease Group at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, is a multidisciplinary team of seventeen physicians, four advanced practice providers (APPs), and two research scientists who dedicate their clinical and research efforts to improving the outcomes of patients with plasma cell disorders. We have a large transplant program and cellular therapy program that has continued to grow, along with a busy clinical practice that provides care to a large number of patients with various plasma cell disorders, including complex conditions. We have a large research program that is supported partially through an NCI SPORE grant. The position will involve a balance between hospital service and outpatient clinic-based patient care. Numerous resources are available for advancing research in the field of plasma cell disorders including a large tissue repository and a clinical database that are integrated.
