Description

As we continue to scale, we are seeking a strategic and visionary Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead our enterprise-wide technology strategy and digital transformation initiatives. The CIO will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team and will be responsible for driving the overall IT strategy, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital innovation across the organization. This individual will align technology with business goals, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure IT systems and teams support organizational growth and resilience.

Key Responsibilities

+ Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with business goals and future growth

+ Oversee all aspects of IT operations, including infrastructure, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, support, and compliance

+ Lead digital transformation initiatives to modernize platforms and improve customer and employee experiences

+ Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to maintain competitive advantage

+ Build and lead a high-performing IT leadership team and foster cross-functional collaboration

+ Establish IT governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, HIPAA, NIST)

+ Manage the IT budget, vendor relationships, and technology investments to deliver ROI

+ Drive enterprise data strategy, business intelligence, and analytics capabilities

+ Serve as the primary liaison between IT and other business units

+ Ensure robust disaster recovery, business continuity, and cybersecurity protocols are in place

Requirements

Required:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field

+ 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including 5+ years in a CIO or equivalent executive role

+ Proven track record of leading enterprise-scale digital and IT transformation

+ Strong understanding of cybersecurity, cloud computing, enterprise applications, and data governance

+ Demonstrated ability to align technology with business strategy and deliver measurable results

+ Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

+ Experience managing large budgets and complex vendor ecosystems

Preferred:

+ Master’s degree (e.g., MBA, MS in Information Systems)

+ Industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, PMP, TOGAF)

+ Experience in [industry-specific tech requirements, e.g., healthcare IT, fintech systems, manufacturing ERP]

+ Familiarity with agile and DevOps environments
