    Description We are looking for a skilled Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Memphis, Tennessee. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization by ensuring accurate and efficient management of vendor accounts. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounts payable processes and a detail-oriented mindset to maintain compliance and streamline operations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Reconcile accounts to ensure accurate financial records and resolve discrepancies.

    • Process invoices by coding and entering them into the accounting system.

    • Conduct check runs and ensure timely payment to vendors.

    • Maintain vendor files and update records with correct and current information.

    • Manage vendor relationships by addressing inquiries and resolving issues.

    • Perform data entry tasks to update and clean the master vendor list.

    • Identify and eliminate duplicate vendor entries in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.

    • Make direct phone calls to vendors to verify information and ensure compliance.

    • Collaborate with team members to enhance accounts payable workflows.

    • Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel for daily operations. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable and vendor management.

    • Proficiency in accounting software such as JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, QuickBooks, SAP, and Oracle.

    • Strong skills in data entry and invoice processing.

    • Ability to reconcile accounts and perform check runs accurately.

    • Familiarity with maintaining vendor files and managing multiple vendor accounts.

    • Excellent communication skills, including phone correspondence.

    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis.

    • Detail-oriented with the ability to identify and correct errors in financial records.
