Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

The Machine Operator will oversee and supervise the extrusion and packing departments. This role requires supervision experience in a manufacturing environment and involves training production associates, enforcing safety protocols, and coordinating daily production activities.

Responsibilities

+ Oversee and supervise the extrusion and packing departments.

+ Provide training and support to production associates.

+ Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.

+ Coordinate daily production activities to meet targets and deadlines.

Essential Skills

+ 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

+ Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Supervision experience is a plus.

Work Environment

This role involves working on the paint line initially on a day shift from 7am to 7pm before transitioning to a night shift after 3 months of training (7pm to 7am). Sundays are always off, along with one additional day off during the week. The packing lead role is also on a night shift schedule from 7pm to 7am, with Sundays and one weekday off.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cassopolis, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
