Job Title: QC Equipment Technician (HPLC)
Job Description
The QC Equipment Technician will be responsible for assisting with chemistry and raw materials equipment troubleshooting, minor repair, and calibration for use in various laboratories. The role includes supporting CAPAs, Change Controls, SOPs, and method development.
Responsibilities
+ Assist with troubleshooting, minor repairs, and calibration of chemistry and raw materials equipment.
+ Conduct HPLC, UPLC, and GC testing.
+ Support CAPAs and Change Controls.
+ Assist in the development and revision of SOPs and methods.
+ Manage and validate laboratory methods.
+ Oversee equipment life cycle management, including IQ, OQ, and PQ processes.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in HPLC instrumentation.
+ Experience with lab equipment and method validation.
+ Knowledge of equipment life cycle management.
+ Understanding of IQ, OQ, and PQ processes.
+ Strong experience in quality control.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry with over 5 years of experience.
+ Previous experience in QC chemistry.
+ Familiarity with microbiology, bioassay, and Maximo.
Work Environment
The role operates on a 1st shift, Monday to Friday schedule, with work conducted 100% onsite. The technician will be part of the QC Chemistry group, collaborating with a team of 5-6 people. The work environment encourages business casual attire and values hard work and teamwork.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Norwood, Massachusetts.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $48.00/hr.
