Job Title: Site Manager

Job Description

A leading provider of automated material handling systems (AMHS) is seeking a Site Operations Manager to oversee mechanical, electrical, and commissioning activities during equipment installations at customer facilities. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong project management and technical experience in industrial automation.

Responsibilities

+ Develop and enforce site-specific safety procedures.

+ Lead safety audits and incident investigations.

+ Promote a culture of safety across all site activities.

+ Manage on-site installation teams and ensure safe, high-quality, and timely execution.

+ Interpret project schedules and milestones; develop detailed working plans.

+ Coordinate resources and liaise with customer stakeholders throughout the installation.

+ Monitor progress, manage changes, and maintain project documentation.

+ Lead project closure and handover processes.

+ Create site management documents including org charts and contact lists.

+ Identify risks related to safety, quality, cost, and schedule.

+ Maintain quality assurance and document control plans.

+ Define roles, responsibilities, and expectations within the team.

+ Facilitate training and development in technical, safety, and interpersonal skills.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum 3 years of experience in semiconductor automation or related industrial environments.

+ Strong project management and time management skills.

+ Technical background in mechanical/electrical systems and installation tools.

+ Familiarity with equipment such as stockers, conveyors, AGVs, and OHT systems.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Project) and ability to read technical drawings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Associate’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.

+ Experience with heavy industrial equipment, semiconductor manufacturing, and automation.

+ Knowledge of CNC, lathe, and machine safety procedures.

Work Environment

The role involves working in an industrial environment with a focus on safety and compliance. The work includes managing installation teams, interpreting project schedules, and liaising with customer stakeholders. The position requires proficiency in technical tools and software, with a strong emphasis on promoting a safety culture and ensuring high-quality project execution.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Dallas, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
