    Job Title: Pharmacist

    Job Description

    We are seeking a full-time Pharmacist for a dynamic role in our Pharmacy located in Ft. Myers. This position involves receiving, transcribing, and entering resident prescriptions into our operating systems. Additionally, responsibilities may include dispensing medication, filling, packaging, and preparing medication for shipment.

    Responsibilities

    + Receive, transcribe, and enter resident prescriptions into the operating system.

    + Dispense medication, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

    + Fill, package, and prepare medications for shipment.

    + Provide excellent customer service in a retail pharmacy setting.

    + Ensure fulfillment of prescriptions with attention to detail.

    Essential Skills

    + Registered Pharmacist license.

    + Proficient in data entry and computer skills.

    + Experience with prescription fulfillment and order entry.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + PharmD degree preferred.

    + Experience in long-term care pharmacy settings is advantageous.

    + Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification is a plus.

    Work Environment

    The position is based in a fast-paced Long-Term-Care Pharmacy. The schedule varies with shifts including 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM EST, with some Saturday shifts required. No Sunday shifts. Candidates must be comfortable working later shifts.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Myers, Florida.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
