Job Title: Sales Applications Engineer, Quote Estimation Support

Job Description

The primary responsibility of this position is to support the Applications Management team in generating quotes and proposals. This involves engaging with R&D, Procurement, and other commercial team members to ensure seamless operations.

Responsibilities

+ Support the creation of quotes and proposals by collaborating with the Commercial team, including Applications managers, customer service, and account managers, as well as R&D.

+ Manage the workflow of quotes using the Sales Force software package.

+ Work closely with Procurement to clarify component sourcing, which may involve direct contact with potential suppliers.

+ Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and enhance workflow.

Essential Skills

+ Quoting and manufacturing expertise.

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.

+ A minimum of 2 years of experience in engineering, sales, or a combination of both.

+ Demonstrated success in a previous product or business generation role.

+ Ability to work independently and be highly accountable for personal performance.

+ Fluent English communication skills, both written and oral.

+ Proficiency in computer applications.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ MBA is helpful but not required.

+ Experience working in a regulated environment is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $40.00/hr.
