Position: Cost Manager
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Cost Manager to join our team and support construction operations staffing efforts. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in financial modeling, variance analysis, and strategic reporting to drive cost efficiency and operational impact.
Key Responsibilities
+ Develop and analyze financial models to support staffing and construction operations.
+ Track cost drivers and highlight areas with the greatest financial impact.
+ Assist in preparing capital budgets and long-term financial forecasts.
+ Perform in-depth variance analysis on financial results.
+ Investigate and summarize financial transactions for regular reporting.
+ Deliver clear written and verbal explanations of financial performance.
Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
+ Minimum 5 years of experience in cost control for EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects.
+ Proven experience managing budgets between $200,000 and $1 million.
+ Strong experience in cost control, construction management, and project controls.
+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and INDEX MATCH.
Preferred Skills
+ Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization.
+ Experience in the energy or construction sectors.
+ Working knowledge of Bluebeam and Procore platforms.
+ Skilled in estimation, forecasting, and cost management.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.08 - $72.16/hr.
