    CNC Laser Technicians – 1st & 2nd Shift | Aerospace Manufacturing | Weber County, UT

     

    The **Adecco Permanent Recruitment Group** has partnered with a **leading aerospace manufacturer in Weber County** to hire **two CNC Laser Technicians** —one for **1st shift** and one for **2nd shift** .

     

    These are full-time, permanent positions offering competitive pay, growth potential, and a chance to join a high-performing production team supporting mission-critical aerospace components.

    Position Details:

    + **Title:** CNC Laser Technician

    + **Location:** Weber County, UT

    + **Shifts:**

    + **Day Shift** (1st Shift)

    + **Swing Shift** (2nd Shift with **12% pay differential** )

    + **Pay Rate:** **$20–$31/hour** (depending on experience; OT available)

    + **Reports To:** Production Managers

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Set up and operate **CNC Laser** and other production machines (e.g., lathes, mills)

    + Assist with programming and troubleshoot machine/material issues

    + Read and interpret blueprints, technical specs, and work instructions

    + Utilize inspection tools such as **calipers, micrometers, overlays, and pin gauges**

    + Maintain high attention to detail while managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines

    + Perform daily maintenance and cleaning of machines

    + Communicate effectively across teams including tooling, quality, and engineering

    + Maintain compliance with safety and housekeeping standards

    + Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    + **CNC machine setup and operation experience is required**

    + Ability to read and interpret **engineering drawings and specifications**

    + Comfortable working on **either 1st or 2nd shift**

    + Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

    + Basic proficiency with **Microsoft Word and Excel**

    + Experience in the **aerospace industry** is a **plus**

    + Knowledge of various materials and machining processes

    + Familiarity with **inspection tools** and quality documentation standards
