    Job Title: CNC Machinist

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with expertise in Mazak Machining and Programming. This role involves setting up and running both short and long run jobs on a first shift, four-day work week, Monday through Thursday, from 6am to 4:30pm, with potential overtime on Fridays depending on production needs.

    Responsibilities

    + Set up, program, and run CNC machines efficiently, managing time effectively for both short and long run jobs.

    + Select appropriate tooling and produce parts within required tolerances and specifications.

    + Ensure the CNC Machine operates at the highest level of productivity and quality for each assigned project.

    + Review and maintain setup sheets and specifications to determine setup procedures, machining sequences, and dimensions.

    + Assemble cutting tools in tool holders and position them in magazines as needed to machine parts.

    + Measure workpieces for conformance to specifications using instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and gauges.

    + Adjust machine speeds and feeds, and change cutters to machine parts efficiently.

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ years of experience with CNC Lathe machinery and setups.

    + Troubleshooting skills with Mazatrol experience and programming at the machine.

    + Proficiency in reading blueprints and machining.

    + Experience with machine setup and the use of measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

    + Frequent reaching and bending, with standing and walking required 100% of the time.

    + Knowledge of machinist tools and overhead crane operation.

    + Basic computer skills.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
