• Lead Restoration Technician

    Responsibilities

    + Perform fire damage tasks including board up, structure stabilization, smoke cleaning, and pack out.

    + Handle water damage through extraction, drying, minor demolition, and pack out.

    + Conduct trash removal and material/supply delivery.

    + Perform mold remediation and restoration, including contents manipulation and cleaning.

    + Participate in on-call rotation for new emergency calls.

    + Maintain high quality and standards within the department.

    + Enhance the company's image with each customer and their insurance carrier.

    + Conduct assessments and inspections to evaluate the extent of damage to buildings and structures.

    + Respond quickly to emergency calls involving significant property damage.

    + Implement immediate measures to prevent further damage, such as boarding up windows and tarping roofs.

    + Perform restoration work like water extraction, drying out structures, and cleaning up after fire damage.

    + Safely dismantle and remove damaged parts of a structure when necessary.

    + Identify and address mold issues caused by water damage.

    + Maintain detailed records of the damage, work performed, and materials used for insurance claims and compliance.

    + Follow safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

    + Ensure all restoration and construction work meets industry standards and client expectations.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 2 years of experience in restoration.

    + Proficiency in construction, restoration, packout, smoke cleaning, and mold remediation.

    + Ability to read and write English.

    + Strong documentation skills.

    + IICRC Certification is a plus.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Lead Restoration Technician experience is a plus.

    Work Environment

     

    Based in West LA, including Pacific Palisades, Burbank, and Alta Dena areas. Work from 8:30-5:30, starting at the Burbank shop each morning. Participate in an on-call schedule with one weekend per month and alternating weeknights. Leads will typically work with a crew of four technicians. A 40-minute commute is preferred.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $66560.00/yr.
