    Job Description

    We are seeking dedicated Technicians to assist with foundation waterproofing. This role involves physical tasks such as moving materials to and from the worksite, using hand tools and shovels to move dirt, and digging trenches. While prior experience in trades is not required, familiarity with spray-applied waterproofing or dimple board application is advantageous.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist with foundation waterproofing using various systems.

    + Move materials to and from the worksite efficiently.

    + Use hand tools and shovels to dig trenches and move dirt.

    + Work with waterproofing solutions such as Dow Styrofoam Board, HouseGuard Waterproofing System, and Delta MS Foundation Waterproofing Membrane.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.

    + General labor and construction labor experience.

    + Capability to read a tape measure accurately.

    + Possession of a valid driver's license.

    + Pass a 5-panel drug test.

    + Good attendance and punctuality, verified through references.

    + Ability to lift up to 70 lbs, verified through references.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 6+ months of construction experience.

    + Ability to work in various weather conditions.

    + Experience in landscaping, military, or farming is a plus.

    Work Environment

     

    Work predominantly at commercial construction job-sites and new constructions that are uninhabited. Expect to work outdoors 90% of the time, dealing with various weather conditions. Typical hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with flexibility to start as early as 6:00 AM or stay as late as 5:00 PM. The work locations are generally within 30 miles of Dane County, but occasional travel between Madison and Milwaukee may be required. Team sizes range from 1-3 people. Dress code includes leather boots, high-visibility shirts, hard hats, safety glasses, and jeans. Candidates must provide their own tools and tool belt.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dane, Wisconsin.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $14.00 - $25.00/hr.
