    Job Description

    The Cell Associate will be responsible for operating saws and machinery, including a cutoff saw and a basic CNC machine, involving tasks like loading, unloading, changing tools, and programs, though no programming knowledge is required. Candidates should possess basic machine and tool knowledge, and experience in fields such as metal fabrication, construction, or woodworking is considered transferable.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate saws and basic CNC machinery.

    + Load, unload, and change tools and programs on machinery.

    + Read micrometers, calipers, and handle other measuring tools.

    + Float from one job to the next throughout the shift.

    + Stand and move around most of the day while handling tubes.

    Essential Skills

    + Basic machine and tool knowledge.

    + Ability to read micrometers and calipers.

    + Experience with hand and power tools.

    + Capability to follow step-by-step directions.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in manufacturing settings preferred.

    + Work ethic, reliability, and strong attendance.

    + Adaptability to a fast-paced environment.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a clean, temperature-controlled, and well-lit environment with 2-3 people per cell. First shift operates from 7 am to 3:30 pm, and second shift from 3:30 pm to 12 am, with a $3/hour shift premium for the second shift. Training for second and third shift candidates occurs on the first shift for two weeks. All candidates will start on Monday.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
