Forklift Operator

Pay: $20- $21.60

Shift: 6am - 2:30pm

Job Description

Join a team with a rich history of over 100 years in supply chain solutions, supporting industries such as commercial aerospace, defense, automotive manufacturing, industrial equipment, and pharmaceuticals. We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our logistics warehouse and distribution center.

Responsibilities

+ Pick orders using paper pick sheets.

+ Operate stand-up reach lifts and sit-down forklifts.

+ Wrap pallets using the pallet wrapping machine.

+ Use forklifts to load and unload trucks.

+ Undergo 2-4 weeks of in-house training to ensure safety before operating a forklift.

+ Participate in cross-training to perform all warehouse functions, including order pulling, shipping, and receiving.

Essential Skills

+ At least 2 years of warehouse experience.

+ At least 1 year of experience with a sit-down forklift.

+ Ability to lift upwards of 50 lbs.

+ Strong oral and written communication skills in English.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with RF scanners is a plus.

+ Experience with warehouse management software (WMS) is preferred.

+ Basic computer skills and data entry experience.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
