    Salary Per PTEA

     

    Hours Part-time, include requirement and total hours per week - as needed, not to exceed 19.5 hours per week

     

    Summary of Position

     

    The primary responsibility of this position is to provide effective instruction in the subject area, helping to fulfill the College’s goal of providing a quality education for all students attending CTC .

    Minimum Required Education

    A Master’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education with 18 graduate hours in the appropriate discipline.

    Minimum Required Experience

    One year of teaching experience at the post-secondary or secondary level in an appropriate academic discipline is preferred. Experience with online or technology- enhanced curriculum is preferred.

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    + Possess a demonstrated knowledge in the subject matter being taught.

    + Be able to teach the subject matter effectively and communicate clearly with students

    + Computer skills including Microsoft Suite including ability to download and install software, sending and receiving emails with attachments.

    + Ability to learn Blackboard, Eagle Self Service and Etrieve electronic form system
