    The Corner Medical practice at Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Office Secretary to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.

    Duties and responsibilities will include:

    Communicating with patients in person and over the phone

     

    Coordinating patient care and referrals

     

    Maintaining patient records

     

    Scheduling, canceling appointments and maintaining patient flow

     

    Ensuring accurate demographic and insurance information for patients

     

    Handling communications, including mail and telephone
