    Position Summary

    RSI is recruiting for aProgram Coordinatorwho will beresponsible for chartering and overseeing specific programs or projects within the ECHO organization. This role involves a mix of administrative, logistical, and communication tasks aimed at ensuring program efficiency and effectiveness.

     

    **Job Title:** Program Coordinator

    **Location(s):** Westminster, CO

    **Status:** Full-Time

    **FLSA:** Exempt

    **Hiring Range:** $58,000.00 - $65,000.00per year.(The anticipated starting salary is based on the posted minimum requirements for this position. The offered salary will be based upon the selected applicant’s education, training, and experience.)

     

    This position is required to travel less than 5% of the time.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    + Coordinate and work closely with subject matter experts to prepare, review, and manage correspondence, reports, and other documents.

    + Assist in the design and implementation of program activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

    + Gather information, draft, and submit contract deliverable correspondence.

    + Coordinate logistics for program events, including scheduling, venue arrangements, and participant communications.

    + Coordinate and schedule in-person and virtual meetings with clients, LMS staff, and external stakeholders; coordinate, prepare, finalize, and distribute meeting agendas; and serve as designated scribe.

    + Monitor program budgets and expenditures, ensuring compliance with financial guidelines.

    + Manage and maintain Outlook calendars to include business travel, out-of-office availability, and other work-related details.

    + Make approved purchases with government-issued purchase card.

    + Coordinate business travel and process expense reporting.

    + Coordinate procurement activities.

    + Records management.

    + Collect and analyze data related to program performance and outcomes.

    + Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings to Director of ECHO.

    + Evaluate program effectiveness through feedback and performance metrics.

    + Recommend and implement improvements based on findings.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    Required Education and Years of Relevant Experience

    + Vocational/Technical School Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree. Experience in lieu of education may be considered.

    + 6 years of relevant experience.

    Licenses and Certifications

    + Valid Driver’s License.

    + No professional certification required.

    Required Skills and Abilities

    + Excellent project coordination and management skills, including ability to prioritize and complete competing projects/priorities with aggressive due dates and quick turn-around times.

    + Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, MS Teams, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint).

    + Strong attention to detail and quality.

    + Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

    + Superior organizational management and record keeping.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

    + Demonstrated customer-service orientation.

    + Can-do attitude and collaborative work style; flexibility and adaptability.

    + Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

    + Ability to receive and communicate sensitive topics with appropriate judgement and skill.

    Preferred Skills and Abilities

    + Formal project management certification and training.

    + Expert writer/editor, including mastery of English grammar, AP and in-house style guides, and plain language.

    + Experience supporting community outreach, media relations, STEM education and/or Congressional/intergovernmental programs and activities for clients.

    + Contracting and or legal correspondence and or administration.

    + Budget and cost accounting.

    + Event planning and logistics coordination.

    + Executive-level support experience.

    + Ability to quantify results and outcomes.

    + Ability to communicate within various levels throughout an organization.

    + Experience communicating technical and/or scientific information to non-technical and or non-scientific audiences.

    + Familiarity with radioactive and chemical waste, environmental contamination, hazardous material and the associated long-term surveillance and maintenance, records management, work force restructuring and benefits continuity, property management, land use planning, and community assistance.

    + Familiarity working as a contractor for the U.S. government.

    + Experience with the U.S. Department of Energy and or Office of Legacy Management.

    + Knowledge and experience in federal government agency protocols.

    Essential Physical Requirements

     

    Sedentary: Work involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs may be defined as sedentary when walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
