    Overview

     

    Responsible for general technical support for students, faculty and staff of the Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine/ Imaging School (1000+ users).

    Responsibilities

    Responsible for general technical support, to include, but not limited to as much of the following as possible:

    + Administers all smart-podiums, troubleshooting all Audio-Visual issues in lecture halls, labs and classrooms.

    + Respond to service tickets.

    + Performs installation, configuration, deployment and troubleshooting of desktop/laptop computers and peripherals.

    + Administers Print Server and printing management software.

    + Administers E-Mail listserv for faculty, staff and student body.

    + Troubleshoots network (wired and wireless) related issues.

    + Technical support for Medical Simulation Machines.

    + Assists students and instructors with Canvas and clicker issues.

    + Assist students with Exam issues.

    + Troubleshoot Zoom issues.

    + Other duties as required.

    Qualifications

    Education/Experience

    + Bachelor of Science preferred.

    + At least 3 years of IT experience required.

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

    + Demonstrated proficiency in communication (written and verbal) required.

    + Customer service and team orientated required.

    + A high degree of interpersonal competency: Professionalism, diplomacy, judgement and discretion required.

    + Demonstrated ability to develop positive and cooperative relationships with students, faculty and colleagues required.

    + Knowledge of networking, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, TCP/IP.

    + Knowledge of Windows Workstations/Servers, Linux Servers (preferred) and Mac OSX.

    + Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook.

    + Basic understanding of Audio-Visual equipment.

    + Ability to do internet research as necessary.

    Working Conditions

    + Ability to lift 10 lbs.

    + Monday to Friday

    + 7:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.

    + Fully on-site. No remote possibilities.

     

    Maximum Salary

     

    USD $50,715.00/Yr.

     

    Minimum Salary

     

    USD $40,572.00/Yr.
