The pay for this position starts at $21.52, with additional compensation added for higher education and/or years of relevant experience up to $25.03.

This position is located in Fitchburg, MA.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm (30 hours/week)

**Devereux Massachusetts** serves students with various complex psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders, including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorder.Based in Fitchburg, MA, ourCARES School is a therapeutic day school that serves individuals age 6 through 21 who carry diagnoses of Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or Intellectual Disability.You could be a part of an exceptional team of staff who support the needs of students in grades K-12 and beyond as they work towards diplomas and learn vocational, transitional, and social-emotional skills. Our students have typically experienced multiple academic failures, most often resulting from a wide variety of social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. The help you provide will make a difference in their lives!

As the Activities Coordinator, you will:

+ Be responsible for the overall activity programming at the school, including but not limited to athletics, art, music, and other supplemental specialty curricular opportunities within the school.

+ Provides resources to each classroom group and coordinates their activities to ensure that a well-rounded program is offered to the student body.

Qualifications

Job Qualifications:

+ Must be 21 years of age or older

+ Valid drivers license **required**

+ High School Diploma or GED **required,** Bachelor's Degree _preferred_

+ Previous experience working with individuals under 21 with psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders, and/or autism spectrum disorders _preferred_

+ Professional experience as a coach or advisor _preferred_

Schedule:

+ **Must be able to attend a 2-week paid orientation, Monday to Friday, 8AM to 4PM, in Rutland, MA.**

+ Proceeding orientation:Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm (30 hours/week)
