    Description

    Position Responsibilities:

    + Design, code, evaluate, and test system applications.

    + Provide support and troubleshooting for the department or organization.

    + Install, test, and update hardware, software, and operating systems.

    + Fully applies basic principles, theories, and concepts to job assignments.

    + Exhibits technical and operational proficiency in solving problems of moderate to complex difficulty.

    + Contributes to completion of projects and programs in the area of expertise.

    Knowledge and Job Requirements:

    + Requires a High School diploma or GED equivalent. A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related education is preferred.

    + Requires familiarity with design, programming and maintenance of communications software and establishment of software standards.

    + Must have effective utilization of computer systems including company and industry-related software for essential job functions.

    + Must demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy.

    + Requires continued training to file structure and design, date base and/or date communications concepts, communications systems programming and access methods, advanced coding technique, and current system architecture, to perform successfully in the job.
