JOB SUMMARY:
The Culture and Inclusion Specialist is responsible for supporting a workplace environment where every employee feels valued, heard, and included. This role supports initiatives that foster employee engagement, well-being, and connection, while ensuring alignment with our organizational values and mission. The position works collaboratively across departments to strengthen our workplace culture and reinforce inclusive practices that benefit all employees.

COMPENSATION:$24.04-$26.44 per hour (depends on experience)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
+ Support the development and implementation of strategies that enhance a positive, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture.
+ Coordinate programs and initiatives that build connection and shared purpose across diverse employee populations.
+ Develop and execute inclusive employee events, celebrations, and appreciation initiatives aligned with company values.
+ Serve as the liaison to Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), providing structure, guidance, and logistical support.
+ Help ERGs set goals, plan events, and measure impact while maintaining alignment with organizational values and priorities.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure inclusion is woven into employee programs, policies, and practices.
+ Use employee feedback, survey data, and engagement metrics to identify areas for improvement and action.
+ Promote fair access to opportunities for growth and contribution across all levels of the organization.
+ Administrative support to the Culture and Inclusion Council (CIC), setting agendas, supporting initiatives, and tracking outcomes.
+ Provide support to department representatives on the CIC to encourage innovation and continuous improvement in inclusion efforts.
+ Partner with the Analytics and Engagement teams to collect and evaluate employee feedback related to belonging, engagement, and workplace culture.
+ Translate insights into actionable recommendations and track progress over time.
+ Assist in developing and delivering internal communications that reflect and reinforce a culture of inclusion.
+ Support the creation and coordination of training and learning experiences that promote awareness, empathy, and inclusive behaviors.
+ Assist with Employee Satisfaction/Employee Engagement Survey.
+ Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Associates degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Communications, Social Sciences, or a related field. Bachelor's degree preferred.
+ A minimum of three (3) years of experience in human resources, employee engagement, culture, or inclusion-related roles.
+ Demonstrated understanding of workplace dynamics, employee engagement best practices, and inclusive program development.
+ Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
+ Experience facilitating meetings, events, or councils.
+ Excellent communication and writing skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple initiatives and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
+ Ability to work early mornings, evenings, and weekend events as required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Experience supporting ERGs or culture councils.
+ Familiarity with public or government sector organizations.
+ Understanding of employee engagement survey tools and workplace analytics.
+ Project management or event coordination experience.

This is a hybrid position working out of Rochester, NY.
