Job Description:

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines. This role may involve working independently or leading a project team to deliver results. The Project Manager will oversee all project aspects, including budgeting, scheduling, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and documentation.

Responsibilities:

+ Plan, budget, oversee, and document all aspects of assigned projects.

+ Lead project teams or work independently to ensure successful project delivery.

+ Develop and manage project plans, documenting risks, issues, and contingency plans.

+ Research, gather, analyze, and correlate facts to develop solutions and prepare concise reports.

+ Oversee development of SDLC artifacts and ensure business requirements are translated into technical specifications.

+ Facilitate and guide the SDLC process for project teams.

+ Develop and maintain strong relationships with multiple project sponsors and stakeholders.

+ Summarize and escalate issues appropriately and provide weekly status updates.

+ Conduct regular project team meetings to ensure alignment and progress tracking.

+ Work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

+ Lead Agile methodology processes, feature-driven sprints, and ensure project assignments align with timelines.

+ Manage multi-million dollar software and IT projects.

Required Skills & Experience:

+ 10+ years managing projects with implementations across large organizations.

+ 10+ years experience in research, analysis, problem-solving, and preparing concise reports.

+ 10+ years overseeing SDLC artifacts and translating business requirements into technical specifications.

+ 10+ years developing and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships with excellent communication and presentation skills.

+ 10+ years ability to summarize, escalate issues, provide status updates, and conduct team meetings.

+ 10+ years working in collaborative, fast-paced environments.

+ 10+ years strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

+ 8+ years Agile methodology experience, tracking development progress, and aligning project assignments with timelines.

+ 8+ years managing projects with feature-driven sprints.

+ 8+ years leading multi-million dollar software and IT projects.

+ 1+ year preferred experience implementing Agile methodologies for one or more State of Texas Agencies.

+ 1+ year preferred prior experience in healthcare or public health.

+ PMP Certification required.
