Job Title: Care Coordinator

Employment Type: Fulltime

Pay rate: $22-$24/hr

Work Environment: Hybrid

We’re seeking a dedicated Care Coordinator to join our team and support patients and healthcare providers through benefit coordination and access to prescribed therapies. This role involves direct interaction with patients and providers, navigating insurance processes, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Responsibilities:

+ Serve as a key contact for patients and providers regarding program eligibility, enrollment, and affordability support

+ Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and clients

+ Provide expert guidance on insurance benefits across private and government payers (Medicare, Medicaid, VA, DOD)

+ Manage case documentation and escalate complex issues per program guidelines

+ Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective communication and program success

+ Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards while delivering exceptional customer service

Required Skills:

+ Prior authorization and insurance verification

+ Knowledge of pharmacy and medical reimbursement

+ Experience in care coordination and call center environments

+ Familiarity with medical terminology and patient registration

+ Strong data entry and case management abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience working with Free Goods programs and reverification processes

+ Solid understanding of medical and pharmacy benefits

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other tech tools

+ Excellent communication skills with both patients and providers

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
