Description and Requirements

+ **Project Management:** Overseeing project timelines, budgets, and resources, and tracking progress to ensure milestones are met.

+ **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Coordinating with various teams, including design, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and marketing.

+ **Process Development:** Designing and documenting manufacturing processes, work instructions, and tooling to ensure efficient production of the new product.

+ **Quality Control:** Developing and implementing test plans, monitoring test results, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

+ **Documentation:** Creating and approving product files, Bill of Materials (BOM), and other essential documents for the new product and manufacturing.

+ **Risk Management:** Identifying potential risks and issues early in the development cycle and developing mitigation plans.

Basic Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field

+ 2 plus years of experience in manufacturing, process development, or new product introduction (NPI)

+ Solid understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, injection molding, sheet metal fabrication, and assembly

+ Experience working with contract manufacturers and suppliers in a high-mix, low- to mid-volume production environment

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Master’s degree in a related engineering or technical discipline

+ Experience launching hardware products in a regulated industry (e.g., medical devices, automotive, aerospace, or consumer electronics)
