Position Description:
Performs specialized, complex work to assist in the organization and implementation of various projects and programs. Work is performed under supervision within established guidelines with performance based on overall results obtained.

Major/Essential Functions:
Departmental Support:
+ Coordinate assigned reports including but not limited to monthly reports, time tracking etc; manage solicitation requests as assigned; provide administrative support to departmental initiatives including recruitment, training and departmental events.
Administration:
+ Prepare, distribute and record minutes for assigned meetings; process and ensure accuracy of budget paperwork, travel paperwork, and additional administrative responsibilities in assigned areas; process hiring paperwork, onboarding procedures and maintain up-to-date rosters of staff and student leaders; conduct associated reference checks, drug tests, background checks and grade checks for assigned staff or student leaders.
Supervision:
+ Provide indirect supervision through accountability of student leaders and residence life staff for administrative and related tasks; communicate effectively with direct supervisors of staff regarding any concerns.
Communication:
+ Provide internal and external customer service via the phone, e-mail and in-person; be knowledgeable of campus resources and refer students, faculty and staff as appropriate.

Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan.
