    Description of Work Unit

    At the CSU VTH , we exist to educate the next generation of Veterinarians by providing exceptional veterinary care and service to the community…every day. This work unit exists to provide support services for two large animal facilities at Colorado State University’s Veterinary Teaching Hospital. The two large animal facilities are the Equine Hospital and Livestock Hospital.

    Position Summary

    This position: Cleans stalls in our Equine Hospital and Livestock Barn.

     

    Disinfecting stalls, aisle ways, and the breezeway.

     

    Maintaining a bio-secure environment and following strict bio-secure protocols.

     

    Shift hours may include 6:00 AM–9:00 AM or 5:00 PM–9:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of shifts extending beyond 9:00 AM or 9:00 PM as needed. Weekend shifts may also be available from 8:00 AM–4:00 PM on Saturdays and/or Sundays.

     

    Position Minimum Qualifications

     

    Stall cleaning experience required.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Equine experience preferred.
