• Engine Lab Test Engineer/Test Engineer Liason

    Amentum (Dearborn, MI)


    Perform as a test engineer, supporting the development of various powertrains through the design of test procedures and methodologies. Assist in detailed data analysis and test validation of new equipment ensuring required emission and fuel economy requirements are met. Problem resolution and troubleshooting support.

     

    Perform as project manager by delivering quality, timing, and financial objectives of a project. Manage complex installations which require detailed design work

     

    + Testing Liaison

    + Coordinate with outside suppliers to ensure test procedures and processes are followed.

    + Ensure data generated matches standards.

    + Coordinate issue resolution across all test sites for resolution and commonality.

    + Coordinate asset and part movement to ensure milestones are met.

     

    Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

     

    Working knowledge of internal fluid flow, basic chemistry, and heat transfer properties beneficial

     

    Experience in engines/powertrain dynamometer testing or other similar testing techniques preferred

     

    Basic electronic troubleshooting experience and data analysis a plus

     

    Good interpersonal, computer, oral and written skills.
