    You will report directly to our Production Supervisor, and you’ll work out of our Greer, SC location on an on-site work schedule.

     

    In this role, you will impact our Aerospace business unit by contributing to the production of critical components that support various aerospace applications, ensuring that we meet customer demands and maintain our reputation for quality.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Set up and operate CNC lathe machines according to engineering specifications.

    • Perform part inspections using gauges, CMM, and visual tools.

    • Maintain cutting tools, coolant flow, and machine cleanliness.

    • Follow TPM maintenance and startup procedures.

    • Navigate CNC programs and verify correct program selection.

    • Document production activity in SAP and complete required paperwork.

    • Comply with operation sheets, frozen processes, and safety protocols.

    • Troubleshoot machine issues and escalate as needed.

    • Participate in workstation 5S audits and maintain a clean work area.

    YOU MUST HAVE

    + Minimum 3 years of experience as a machinist or CNC lathe operator.

    + Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and specifications.

    + Experience with quality control and inspection techniques.

    + Familiarity with CNC programming and machining processes.

    + Understanding of safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.

    WE VALUE

    + High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.

    + Experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing.

    + SAP experience for production documentation.

    + Knowledge of Okuma CNC controls is highly desirable.
