    Corrections LPN – 2nd Shift | Coralville, IA

    We’re hiring a dependable and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a Corrections assignment in Coralville, IA. This is a great opportunity to provide essential care in a secure facility while working a consistent schedule.

     
     

    + Location: Coralville, IA

    + Start Date: ASAP

    + Duration: 13 weeks (with potential to extend)

    + Shift: 2nd shift, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

    + Schedule: Monday–Friday + every other weekend

    + Hours: 40 hours/week

     
     

    + Local Candidates (within 50 miles): $40/hour

    + Travel Candidates (50+ miles from facility): $1,850/weekProof of residency required for travel rate

    ? Requirements:

    + Active LPN license

    + Previous corrections or behavioral health experience preferred

    + Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

    The Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse works in close andimmediate contact with adults and children in custody on a daily basisproviding general and emergency nursing care in the Medical and Ambulatorysection of the Corrections Facility while maintaining facility securitystandards.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Possesses a current Practical Nursing License in theapplicable state

    + Minimum of one year experience in Corrections preferred

    + Current CPR if applicable

    + TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

    + Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
