    We are seeking an **Expert-level Terraform Developer** to join our cloud infrastructure team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining highly scalable and secure Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform. You will work closely with DevOps, Cloud Engineering, and Application Development teams to ensure reliable infrastructure delivery across cloud environments.

    Rate: $75 - $85 / hr. w2

    Responsibilities:

    + Design, build, and maintain reusable, modular Terraform modules for provisioning cloud infrastructure.

    + Translate infrastructure requirements into secure, scalable, and well-documented Terraform code.

    + Implement and manage infrastructure provisioning pipelines using tools such as Terraform Cloud, Terraform Enterprise, or CI/CD systems (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).

    + Collaborate with platform and security teams to integrate policies and compliance standards.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Terraform provisioning, modules, or state management.

    + Maintain and optimize the IaC codebase for performance, clarity, and DRY principles.

    + Conduct code reviews and mentor other engineers on Terraform best practices.

    + Contribute to automation and governance for cloud infrastructure.

    + Work in agile teams and participate in sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.

    Experience Requirements:

    Required Qualifications

    + **5+ years** of hands-on experience with Terraform in production environments.

    + Proven expertise in writing and maintaining **complex Terraform modules** and managing **state** securely and efficiently.

    + Strong understanding of **cloud networking, compute, IAM, and storage components** .

    + Familiarity with infrastructure provisioning on **one or more major cloud providers** (AWS, Azure, GCP).

    + Deep understanding of **IaC principles** , **GitOps** , and CI/CD pipelines.

    + Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Infrastructure lifecycle management.

    + Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) to support infrastructure automation.

    Nice to Have

    + Experience deploying and managing infrastructure on **Google Cloud Platform (GCP) -- MUST HAVE**

    + Exposure to **Generative AI (GenAI)** services or projects (e.g., Vertex AI, LLM model orchestration).

    + Familiarity with **Kubernetes** , **Helm** , or other container orchestration tools.

    + Certifications in Terraform (e.g., HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate) or GCP.

    Soft Skills

    + Strong communication and collaboration skills.

    + Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, agile environment.

    + Detail-oriented with a strong focus on clean code and documentation.

     

    _Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range._
