    Job Description

    Join the Prior Authorization Operations team to process requests accurately and efficiently using tools like MedResponse, MedAccess, FileNet, and RightFax. You'll assess requests based on clinical guidelines, identify missing information, and determine outcomes (approve, pend, refer). The role involves phone, fax, and ePA communications with physicians and pharmacies.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Process and document prior authorization requests within client turnaround times

    • Apply formulary guidelines and verify drug indications

    • Communicate determinations and follow up on missing information

    • Collaborate with clinical pharmacists and client teams

    • Support Contact Center during high call volumes

    • Maintain confidentiality and follow data handling protocols

    Skills and Requirements

    • 0–5+ years of experience as a licensed Pharmacy Technician

    • Active PTCB or CPhT certification

    • Prior authorization experience

    • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook

    • Experience handling inbound calls
