    Job Description

    A client of Insight Global's is looking for a Secret Mid Configuration Manager to join their team! This position will play a key role in supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).

     

    We are looking for a self-starter who has experience prioritizing and delegating tasks and offering practical suggestions for process improvements. Someone who has strong attention for detail, can quickly transition between high-level strategic thinking and hands-on execution and has experience maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders and teammates.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Perform detailed audits of artifacts and asset inventories to develop and maintain accurate as-built models and drawings for assigned areas.

    • Utilize Visio and other modeling tools to produce and update as-built configuration diagrams or models.

    • Review and analyze Change Requests and related work items, completing tasks through the Remedy™ ticketing system.

    • Collaborate with engineers to understand configuration changes and ensure all associated drawings and documentation are updated accordingly.

    • Maintain and update records within the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).

    • Assist with updating and managing property records.

     

    This position is onsite full-time in Colorado Springs, CO the salary range for this role is between $120,000-$140,000/yr depending on years and level of experience, education, and certifications. This role requires an Active Secret Clearance or higher.

    Skills and Requirements

    • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance

    • 6+ years of experience (flexible with completion of advanced education)

    • 2+ years of directly related experience to Configuration Management, Change Management, Technical Engineering, Asset Management, Auditing and/or Metrics

    • Proficient in Outlook, Word and Excel • ITIL Certification

    • Proficient in Microsoft Visio

    • Experience utilizing Remedy Ticketing System

    • Model Based Engineering or Model Tool Experience (CAMEO)
