    Job Description

    We are seeking a talented and experienced Key Management Operations Resource to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of a robust key management infrastructure. You will work closely with engineering, operations, and security teams to design, implement, and maintain highly available and performant KMS solutions.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Deploy and maintain key management infrastructure to meet security and compliance requirements.

    • Monitor and optimize performance and scalability of KMS infrastructure.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to encryption, decryption, and key rotation.

    • Implement and enforce security best practices to protect sensitive data and cryptographic keys.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate workflows for key lifecycle management.

    • Conduct post-incident reviews and implement preventive measures.

    • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in key management and cryptographic standards.

    • Utilize incident and problem management systems (e.g., Remedy, ServiceNow).

    • Work hands-on with Linux/Unix and/or Windows server platforms.

     

    Can pay $84/hr to $89.74 - Approved locations: Charlotte, NC and Plano Texas

    Skills and Requirements

    • Strong understanding of cryptographic principles and key management best practices.

    • Experience with Thales HSM or CipherTrust Manager.

    • Familiarity with cloud-based key management systems (e.g., AWS KMS, Azure Key Vault, Google Cloud KMS).

    • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go).

    • Experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).

    • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

    • Ability to collaborate across functional areas and navigate operational challenges.

     

    Strong communication and teamwork skills.
