Job Description

The Billing Analyst will support the Enterprise Collections team by providing technical expertise and operational support for third-party billing systems, with a focus on the ICOMS platform. This role is primarily focused on resolving a backlog of accounts that have unclaimed properties associated with them. The analyst will be responsible for investigating and correcting misapplied payments and billing credits, often within complex account structures that include parent accounts and multiple sub-accounts.

The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and skilled at navigating layered account hierarchies to identify discrepancies and ensure accurate billing resolution. This is a hands-on role requiring persistence, curiosity, and a strong investigative mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

-Investigate and resolve misapplied payments and billing credits across parent and sub-account structures.

-Work through a backlog of accounts with unclaimed properties, identifying root causes and correcting issues.

-Assist in the development, testing, and implementation of billing system enhancements.

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, Finance, and Customer Service to resolve billing issues.

Skills and Requirements

Required Qualifications:

-0–2 years of experience in a Billing Analyst or related role.

-Familiarity with the ICOMS billing platform.

-Strong analytical and investigative skills, especially in complex account environments.

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools. -Experience in telecommunications or enterprise billing environments.

-Exposure to software testing and documentation practices.

-Understanding of collections processes and financial systems.

*This role is ONSITE, so you must live/work near Tampa, FL*

Pay Rate between $25-30/hr

**Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
