_Position Summary_
The** **Technical Support Administrator II** **maintains and supports all information systems services from a client endpoint and server system scope. This includes individual client incident management and resolution, system incident management and resolution as assigned server administration, and virtual client/server application delivery service administration. Additional responsibilities include backup/recovery services, high availability, disaster recovery maintenance, and incident response, and clear professional documentation.

Maintenance and support of endpoint client machines and services, including cloud and on-premises. Maintenance and support of systems infrastructure as assigned, including hardware infrastructure, VMware virtual machines, Microsoft Windows servers, and Citrix XenApp.
Collaborate with network and system administrators to identify performance, capacity needs, and resiliency, particularly regarding endpoint client machines and services.
Collaborate with IT staff in the evaluation of new software and hardware systems.
iSeries support and troubleshooting (including printer and application-level support)
Help design and manage the enterprise's information systems backup/recovery and disaster recovery plans.
Ability to administer and maintain 3** **rd** **party solutions related to the enterprise's operation and support.
Management of IT Assets: endpoint, server, and network equipment.
Security patching of endpoint devices and ensuring equipment is at proper security levels

_Qualifications_
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below represent the required knowledge, skill, and/or ability.
2-3 years of experience implementing and maintaining information systems in a multi-site enterprise environment, including client-level support.
Knowledge of Microsoft Technologies, including Windows Desktop and Server OS.
Knowledge of VMware and Citrix technologies is a plus.
Knowledge of iSeries (IBM I, AS400) server technologies is a plus.
Experience with backup/recovery procedures and disaster recovery response protocols.
_Education and/or Experience_
BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field and 1** **to 3 years of systems administration experience or at least five years of experience in a multisite virtual systems environment with escalating responsibility for maintaining enterprise-class systems and storage solutions.
Professional certification in relevant disciplines a plus (e.g., Citrix, VMware, Windows)
