Description
+ Support Contracts Team and assist in review of contractual documentation to support contract close-out activities in accordance with policies, procedures and regulations
+ Research regulatory guidance to integrate into business processes to maximize outcomes
+ Research customs compliance import & export procedures, policies, and documentation to develop standard workflows and develop training to ensure compliance
+ Review shipping documents for classifications, export/import restrictions, applicable authorizations, opportunity to reduce applicable import tariffs, etc.
+ Update Trade Compliance Management System (EASE) with Export Commodity Classification Numbers (ECCNs)
+ Research Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to support compliant business processes
+ Ensure compliance with Government regulations, corporate policies and best practices
Position Requirements
+ Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, International Business, Legal, Supply Chain Management or related field
+ 3.0+ GPA
Preferred Additional Skills:
+ Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with the ability to work well in a Team environment
+ Self-starter with strong organizational and computer skills
+ Experience creating and maintaining complex Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
+ Familiarity with ERP systems
+ Familiarity with U.S. Government agencies (i.e. Defense Security Cooperative Agency (DSCA), Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), Department of State (DOS), Department of Commerce (DOC), etc.)
+ Creative and strategic mindset
