    ROLE DESCRIPTION:

    SAIC has an opening for an experienced Secured Conferencing Engineer (SETA) in Chantilly, VA to assist a government customer oversee Unified Communications, Mission Critical Conferencing System (MCCS), and other VOIP technologies. MCCS is a multi-level conferencing system that provides highly reliable, mission critical, multi-site voice conferencing capabilities between mission partners engaged in pre-launch and day-of-launch activities. The successful applicant will assist the government with overseeing the design, implementation, and on-going support of enterprise-level voice solutions implemented by a variety of service provider contracts. Applicants must exhibit flexibility in task execution, provide technical expertise on a variety of Systems Engineering topics (e.g., requirements, service readiness, etc.) to deliver continuity of effort, demonstrate value-added judgment, and advise the government on Service Portfolio Management (i.e., cost, schedule, and performance) related program activities. The successful candidate will produce recommendations and deliverables (i.e., presentations, white papers, statements of work, etc.) in a thorough, practicable, and consistent manner congruent with the organization's objectives associated with IT infrastructure provisioning. US Citizenship required. Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with Poly is required to start and must be maintained.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The successful candidate must be able to:

    + Serve as the technical liaison and Subject Matter Expert (SME) between technology delivery vendors and government stakeholders.

    + Perform market research and keep up with up with the industry as it relates to mission critical conferencing across the enterprise, to include voice and video options.

    + Work with customers on their conferencing requirements to solidify needs specific to launch facilities, mission ground stations, and factory locations.

    + Facilitate Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) with customers to educate them on available capabilities.

    + Assess customer needs and make design recommendations.

    + Draft and/or review Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposals (RFP) that describe the customer needs and design recommendations for the government.

    + Maintain approved architecture drawings for mission continuity and configuration control

    + Review pricing from vendors equipment and parts, track price increases and update the Enterprise Product Lists (EPL) as needed.

    + Review the execution of Statements of Work (SOWs) to ensure delivered services meet quality assurance expectations.

    + Function as a project manager to ensure services deliveries occur on-time to avoid impacts to scheduled mission activities.

    + Oversee the Repair Maintenance Activity (RMA) vendor support activities, recap efforts, and other life-cycle management activities.

    + Facilitate bi-annual Program Management Reviews (PMRs) between the vendor and stakeholders to maintain open lines of communication, establish vendor feedback opportunities, and address emerging changes in service delivery requirements.

    + Recommend prioritizations of investment opportunities to the Government Program Management Office (GPMO) to optimize funds expenditure.

    + Review all invoices to verify work charges are consistent with task expectation.

    + Make payment recommendations to the government based on invoice reviews.

    Qualifications

    REQUIREMENTS:

    + Must be a US Citizen.

    + Bachelors in a STEM related field and five (5) years or more relevant experience; Masters in a STEM related field and three (3) years or more relevant experience.

    + Must possess and maintain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with current Poly.

    + NRO experience preferred.
