From creative writing to statistics and data science, behavioral economics to social and political history, Dietrich College is home to 11 humanities and social sciences departments, programs and institutes. Our world-class faculty and students work across subject areas to investigate and solve real-world problems.

We are seeking a Post-Doctoral Researcher for the Lebiere Lab within the

Psychology Department.

Core Responsibilities Include:

+ Design and implementation of computational cognitive models

+ Capture workflows and strategies in complex software engineering systems in their integration in real-time recommender systems

+ Carry out sophisticated independent and/or advised research to achieve the objectives of the research project.

+ Organizing and implementing complex research plans

+ Development of methods of research, testing and data collection, analysis and evaluation, and writing reports which contain descriptive, analytical and evaluative content.

Qualifications

+ PhD in Neuroscience, Psychology, Cognitive Psychology or a related field.

+ Extensive experience with computational cognitive models is required.

+ Experience with the ACT-R cognitive architecture, with applications to cybersecurity, and with the development of neuro-symbolic models is preferred.

+ A combination of education and proven experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered **.**
