Position Summary...

Walmart is seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC/R Technician to join our team. As an HVAC/R Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, as well as boilers, chillers, RTUs, MAUs, and refrigeration equipment in our Home Office Campus.

What you'll do...

+ Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment, boilers, chillers, RTUs, MAUs, and refrigeration equipment

+ Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems and equipment

+ Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and inspecting equipment, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency

+ Conduct energy audits and make recommendations for energy-efficient upgrades

+ Collaborate with other maintenance teams to ensure seamless operations

+ Maintain accurate records of work performed, including maintenance schedules and repair logs

+ Provide excellent customer service to store employees and management

+ Stay up-to-date with industry developments and manufacturer recommendations

+ Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergency calls

What you’ll bring:

+ Vocational or Technical Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVAC/R) certification and 2 years experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls **OR** 4 years experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls or related field.

+ Type I/Type II Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification for Refrigerant handling.

+ 5+ years of experience in HVAC/R maintenance and repair, with a focus on boilers, chillers, RTUs, MAUs, and refrigeration equipment

+ EPA 608 certification required

+ Strong understanding of HVAC/R systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning principles

+ Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in extreme temperatures

+ Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

+ Strong communication and customer service skills

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team

+ Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if applicable)

The hourly wage range for this position is $23.00-$45.00*

*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
