    The Divisional Chief Technology, Data, and Operations Officer - Wholsale is a senior executive leader responsible for unifying and advancing Truist’s technology, data, and operations capabilities across Wholesale Banking. This role is pivotal in driving strategic enablement, operational excellence, and innovation at scale.

     

    As a key member of the TD&O leadership team, the Divisional Officer partners with executive management and business leaders to deliver a streamlined, accountable, and agile operating model. This includes embedding platform thinking, accelerating automation, and enhancing client operational experience. The role also champions responsible AI adoption, cost transparency, and risk-by-design principles to ensure Truist remains adaptive, secure, and client-focused.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Strategic Leadership: Lead the TD&O division aligned to a major business area, driving performance, transformation, and innovation in support of Truist’s strategic objectives.

    2. Unified Enablement: Serve as the single point of accountability for technology, data, cyber, care center, and operations functions within the division.

    3. Business Partnership: Collaborate with business unit leaders to align TD&O strategies with client needs, operational goals, and enterprise priorities.

    4. Platform & Automation Strategy: Promote platform reuse, agentic automation, and enterprise-wide consistency across architecture, infrastructure, AI, and cyber capabilities.

    5. Client Experience: Embed client operations into TD&O to improve responsiveness and service quality, in alignment with Truist’s Client Experience strategy.

    6. AI Leadership: Advocate for and lead the adoption of artificial intelligence to enhance teammate productivity and client engagement.

    7. Risk & Security Oversight: Ensure integration of security detection capabilities under a unified security model. Maintain compliance with regulatory and governance standards.

    8. Global Services Development: Build and scale in-house global services capabilities to support Truist’s evolving talent strategy.

    9. Investment Governance: Oversee divisional investment portfolios, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities and delivering measurable business value.

    10. Culture & Change Management: Foster a culture of transparency, innovation, and accountability. Lead change management efforts to support TD&O transformation.

    11. Enterprise Transformation Oversight: At the enterprise level, oversee the investment portfolio and provide governance and oversight necessary to achieve large-scale, complex business change through a set of programs and projects aligned with the company’s strategic objectives. This includes enterprise-wide strategic project prioritization, stewardship of strategic investments, driving the delivery of critical initiatives, and tracking of projected benefits.

    Required Qualifications:

    1. Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience in financial services, with a strong track record in technology, data, and operations.

    2. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Information Systems, or related field.

    3. Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and drive transformational change.

    4. Deep understanding of technology strategy, operational excellence, and digital innovation.

    5. Exceptional communication, collaboration, and strategic planning skills.

    6. Experience managing risk and regulatory relationships in complex environments.

    7. Willingness to travel up to 25%.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    1. MBA or equivalent advanced degree.

    2. Experience leading global delivery services in a large financial institution.
