    AAR is seeking a customer-centric and technically proficient IT Analyst. The individual will be part of a dynamic team responsible for the ongoing support and advancement of the IT systems. The role focuses on operational support, ERP administration, automation, monitoring, and direct customer engagement to maintain and advance the IT environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Deliver comprehensive desktop support by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and peripheral issues for end users, ensuring seamless daily operations and a high level of customer satisfaction.

    • Manage, build, install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual server environments.

    • Administer Microsoft Server OS environments and components including Active Directory, Certificate Services, IIS, and related services.

    • Manage the company ERP system Syteline including user administration, troubleshooting, audit, data integrity, and coordination with business users.

    • Remediate vulnerabilities and apply security best practices across systems.

    • Install and configure server-based applications and support application availability.

    • Ensure data availability by monitoring backups, validating backups, and testing recovery plans.

    • Use system monitoring software to build dashboards, reports, and alerts to support SLA-driven operations.

    • Automate repetitive tasks and improve processes using scripting and tooling.

    • Triage and resolve server, application, and basic networking issues; escalate complex incidents when necessary.

    • Consistently communicate in person and digitally with customers and team members to deliver exceptional IT customer service.

    • Work closely with IT teams, business users, and vendors on projects and changes while maintaining clear, timely communication and a customer-first approach.

    • Escalate complex issues when necessary and maintain clear technical documentation.

    • Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

    Qualifications:

    Required Skills and Experience:

    • Experience configuring, installing, and administering VMware environments.

    • Practical experience with Windows Server (2008–2022)

    • Familiarity with SAN/storage technologies and basic networking concepts.

    • Basic PowerShell scripting for automation and operational tasks.

    • Hands-on experience administering ERP systems or comparable business applications preferred, experience with Syteline highly desirable.

    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a drive to pursue technical issues to resolution.

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for customer-facing support and teamwork.

    • Strong customer service orientation, excellent verbal and written communication, and ability to translate technical issues for non-technical users.

    • Attention to detail, creativity in problem solving, and focus on productivity.

    • Motivation and vision for applying advanced automation techniques to reduce manual work.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Azure certifications.

    • Microsoft MCSE.

    • ITIL Foundation

    • Prior experience in an ERP-heavy environment.

    Education:

    • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science from a four-year college or university; or four years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience.
