    Description:** **What You Will Be Doing

    As a Facilities Engineer you will be responsible for:

    • Under general supervision of the Team Lead determines and develops approach in managing High and Low Voltage Infrastructure projects for advanced aeronautical manufacturing plant;

    • Monitors all phases of construction including design, compliance, construction, occupancy and quality control;

    • Understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts in the field;

    • Knowledge of design codes and standards, such as NEC, NESC, NEMA, IEEE, ANSI, IESNA and UFC’s; Ability to develop a list of codes criteria \(Code Audit\) to be reflected in the projects;

    • Manage and administrate Corporate capital, Overhead and Government\-funded infrastructure projects budgets;

    • Perform analysis and design of single line diagrams, substation relaying & metering diagrams \(i\.e\. A\.C\. schematic diagrams\);

    • Develop Statements of Work, cost estimates and budgets, timelines and schedules, follows\-up on pre\-installation activities;

    • Communicate with other engineering disciplines, internal customers and A&E's to ensure projects and systems are cost effective, within budget, meet the desired design criteria and schedule guidelines;

    • Prepare reports, drawings and specifications for complex projects making appropriate recommendations and design development decisions on small or large projects;

    • Provide technical review of documents;

    • Provide capacity/demand analysis of utility systems and planning to support growth when required;

    • Provide analysis of critical utility systems to understand risks and develop solutions based on assessment;

    • Provide technical support to the Facilities and Maintenance organization as a system expert over time\.

    This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth\.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

    • Hands\-on design and construction experience with long range development plans; high, medium & low\-voltage equipment; arc\-flash & power quality studies; short\-circuit, protective device coordination

    • Ability to obtain United States Department of Defense security clearance is a must\.

    Desired Skills:

    • Professional Engineer registration or EIT with expecting licensing within 5 years;

    • Consultants and Facilities experience;

    • Educational focus or hands\-on experience in Power Systems;

    • Industrial or Manufacturing High & Low Voltage Facility Design Experience;

    • Must be fully competent in all conventional aspects of High Voltage design engineering and be capable with minimal supervision of planning and conducting tasks requiring independent judgment in the evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard design engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria;

    • Strong analytical & problem\-solving skills;

    • Ability to work in teams & approach problems from multiple perspectives, collaborate effectively with people in different functions;

    • Strong time management skills that enable on\-time project delivery;

    • Ability to work effectively in a fast\-paced and rapidly changing environment;

    • Ability to take the initiative & drive for results;

    • Knowledge of LEED projects or certification is a plus;

    **Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\.

    **Clearance Level:** Secret

    **Ability to Work Remotely:** Onsite Full\-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\.

    **Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.

    **Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
