The expected annual salary range for this role is $53253.0 - $78104.4 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you’ll do:
Golf Pride, the #1 golf grip brand worldwide is looking to strengthen our consumer experience at our Global Innovation Center by hiring a Retail Lab Lead Technician.
Under direct supervision of the Retail Lab Leader, the Retail Lab Lead Technician is responsible for providing exceptional service to consumers visiting the GIC and Retail Lab. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with customer facing responsibilities, ensuring each visitor receives a premium experience from consultation through checkout.
This role is almost entirely consumer-facing and likely the very first impression of Golf Pride.
Primary Function:
Retail Lab Support
+ Contribute to grip install efficiency: tasks including but not limited to, removing grips and tape, install new tape and grip, and assisting customer service needs.
+ Provide grip size and model recommendations according to consumer’s needs.
+ Supports workflows for all services to achieve quoted turn-around times to meet consumer’s needs.
+ Assist Retail Lab Leader with managing grip and merchandise inventory, samples, supplies & collateral.
+ Handle inventory operations such as reordering stock, receiving shipments, and processing inventory into the system to ensure accurate tracking and availability.
+ Handle consumer intake data entry and perform analysis to identify trends, insights, and improve operational efficiency.
+ Perform occasional opening and/or closing duties for the Retail Lab, ensuring readiness for daily operations and proper end-of-day procedures.
+ Maintaining an expert knowledge of company’s current product line and future product trends.
+ Upholding company standards for merchandising and product presentation to meet the standards of the best golf grip brand in the industry.
+ Maintaining the Retail Lab and surrounding area in a clean, professional presentation at all times.
+ Staying current with new golf technologies, ever-changing equipment features, and incorporating product knowledge into customer recommendations.
+ Assist the Retail Lab Leader with various tasks as needed.
+ Willing to learn and adhere to evolving processes and procedures implemented by the Retail Lab Leader.
General Golf Pride Support
+ Support Golf Pride’s overall consumer experience needs, including phone calls, in-person interactions, GIC visitor support, and other tasks as assigned that may fall outside the scope of this job description.
+ Occasional event support with set up of tents, displays, testing equipment, etc. for marketing or community events (evenings or weekends possible).
+ Ensure Retail Lab and surrounding consumer experience areas are always clean and presentable.
+ Welcome guests and visitors to Golf Pride with a level of hospitality that enhances our brand.

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
+ 2+ years of experience around club fitting and golf equipment with regripping experience.
+ 1+ year of experience working with Microsoft Office Products
+ Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now and in the future.
+ Relocation is not offered for this position. Only candidates who reside within a 50-mile radius of Pinehurst, NC (28374) will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Basic understanding of swing mechanics, club fitting, and product knowledge.
+ General understanding and passion for the game of golf and golf gear.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills.
+ Experience working in a Retail environment.
+ Class A PGA membership
