UNC WAYNE IS HIRING A SWING SHIFT PHYSICIAN IN GOLDSBORO, NC

UNC Health Wayne is looking for BC/BE hospitalist to join the growing Hospital Medicine program in Goldsboro, NC. This position involves delivering high-quality, team-based inpatient services. We offer a highly competitive compensation package and benefits including, quality bonus, CME, retirement plan and malpractice coverage.

This position involves admitting and was designed to help both the day and the night team, while creating a shift that increases flexibility for all team members. This position does not require any procedures. Our practice prioritizes maximizing work-life balance with collabo-ration and teamwork.

Goldsboro is located one hour east of Raleigh, the vibrant state capital, and 90 minutes from the NC coast. We have great weather, a welcoming community, an energized downtown and a low cost of living. Schedule: 3:00pm – 3:00am (9 hours of admissions followed by 3 hours of cross cover-age) *There is some flexibility in shift start times

+ 38 Emergency Beds

+ 4 Trauma beds

+ 4 Behavioral Health Beds

+ 15 Bed ICU

+ 8 Bed Labor and Delivery Unit

+ 26 Bed Nursery

+ 22 Bed Behavioral Health Unit

+ Closed ICU

**EMR** : EPIC

Requirements:

+ Graduated from an accredited Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy school

+ Internal Medicine Residency preferred

+ BC/BE
