    The Healthcare Discovery Analyst for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for partnering with the Sr. Discovery Consultants to identify, assess, and quantify opportunities that optimize customer organizational performance. This includes supporting the development of business cases that align to customer strategic goals, validating opportunity sizing through data analysis, and providing insights that directly tie to the customer’s P&L. You will also leverage Danaher Business System tools to drive structured analysis and ensure consistent, high-quality discovery engagements.

     

    This position is part of the Sales and Marketing organization headquartered in Brea, CA and will be fully remote (USA). At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

     

    You will be a part of the Performance Partnership Discovery team and report to the Performance Partnership Discovery Manager, supporting the early stages of the consulting lifecycle.     In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

    + Partner with Discovery Consultants to analyze customer operations, test menus, and workflows to surface cost savings and efficiency opportunities.

    + Use data analysis to size opportunities, validate assumptions, and prepare supporting materials for customer discussions.

    + Support Discovery consultants in building business cases that demonstrate measurable hard cost savings and performance improvement.

    + Prepare and refine presentation materials, opportunity assessments, and reporting templates to ensure clear communication with customers.

    + Conduct research on customer organizations, competitive benchmarks, and industry trends to support discovery findings. Assist in tracking and documenting discovery activities to ensure smooth handoff into delivery.

    The essential requirements of the job include:

    + Bachelor’s degree in field with 2+ years of experience OR Master’s degree with 0–2 years of experience.

    + Strong business insights and analytical ability to identify potential areas of customer opportunity.

    + Demonstrated skills in structured problem solving, data validation, and critical thinking.

    + Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

    + Required travel is 50–75%, primarily overnight.

    It would be a plus if you also possess experience in:

    + Clinical laboratories in a healthcare setting.

    + Analytic tools such as Power BI and Smartsheet.

    + Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies.

    The annual salary range for this role is $95,000 - $105,000 USD. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

     

    This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
